Our Commitment to Clean, Pasture-Raised Meat
Our animals are raised on pasture, where they can express natural behaviors and thrive in a low-stress environment. Our fields are never treated with synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides, ensuring the land remains clean and biologically active. Our animals are never given vaccines or hormones. All of our processing is done right here on the farm in our own butcher shop, allowing us to maintain full control over quality and handling. We never inject or dip our meat in chemicals or processing aids—the only thing it comes into contact with is clean, cold water. Every cut is vacuum packed and frozen to preserve freshness and flavor. Due to Utah’s seasonal climate, we are only able to raise poultry from April through October; however, all poultry available during the winter months is thoughtfully raised and processed in the fall, ensuring our customers have consistent access to high-quality, pasture-raised chicken year-round.
Freqently Asked Questions
How do you offer poultry year-round?
Due to Utah’s seasonal climate, we are unable to raise meat chickens during the colder months. To ensure our customers have consistent access to our products year-round, we raise additional flocks in the early and late fall. All poultry is processed at that time, then vacuum packed and frozen to maintain quality. Any chicken purchased during the winter or early spring comes from these fall harvests, allowing us to provide the same clean, pasture-raised poultry even when we are not actively raising birds.
How does delivery work?
We offer delivery once per week throughout Northern Utah. Most deliveries take place on Thursdays, with occasional exceptions. You will receive a text message from our system the day before your scheduled delivery to confirm that your order will arrive the following day.
How do I pick up my order?
After placing a pickup order, you will receive a text message prompting you to schedule a pickup time. The message will include available days and times for that week. Please respond with your preferred pickup window so we can ensure someone is available at the location and not out working in the pastures.
What type of chickens do you raise for meat?
We raise Cornish Cross broilers. These birds grow efficiently and allow us to raise multiple flocks throughout the season to meet the increasing demand for clean, locally raised poultry.
What do you feed your chickens?
Our chickens have access to fresh pasture, where they forage for grasses, seeds, and insects. In addition, they are provided a free-choice feed blend sourced from a local mill in American Fork, Utah.
Do you wash your eggs?
Yes. In accordance with Utah state regulations, all eggs sold must be washed.
Do you sell live birds?
No, we do not offer live bird sales.
Who makes your seasonings, and what’s in them?
All of our seasoning blends are made in-house using real herbs and spices. We never use fillers or anti-caking agents. Whenever possible, we source ingredients locally; however, some spices must be sourced internationally. All herbs and spices used in our blends are organic.
Do you sell beef?
At this time, we do not sell beef directly. While we do raise a small herd of Dexter cattle, it is not available for public sale. Any beef you see on our social media comes from our butcher shop, where we process animals for other local farms and ranches. We are happy to connect you with trusted producers if you’re looking to purchase beef.
What goes into your cured meats?
Our cured meats are made using traditional dry curing methods with salt and sugar. We do not use sodium nitrate. All cured products are naturally smoked using apple and hickory wood for rich, authentic flavor.
